About the Recipe
A slight twist to a traditional banana muffin.

Ingredients
1 cup wholewheat flour
½ cup white flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup brown sugar
Pinch of salt
¾ cup milk
½ tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 medium-size banana mashed, about half a cup
50 g butter
Chocolate chips or chocolate buttons(12)
Sunny B sunflower seed butter
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 C, and prepare a 12-hole muffin pan.
Sift flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl, stir to mix through. Mix milk, baking soda, mashed banana, egg, and melted butter in a smaller mixing bowl and pour into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Spoon a little batter into each individual muffin cup (about 1/3 of muffin cup), add 1 tsp of SunnyB in the middle, then place 2 or three chocolate chips or one chocolate button on top of the SunnyB. Spoon the rest of the dough mixture on top of each muffin to cover the chocolate and SunnyB.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
Best to enjoy when the muffins whilst still a bit warm, then chocolate will be slightly melted!
